Corning Hungary is looking for a

Finance Associate

The Finance Associate supports the company’s efforts to comply with financial standards by maintaining the General Ledger and Project Costing / Fixed Asset module in the ERP system in accordance with financial reporting requirements while performing the following specific duties:

 Day to Day Responsibilities:

Perform General Accounting:

• Review Accounts
• Create and Process Journals
• Perform Cost Allocations and Statistical Allocations
• Report on Journal Information
• Interact with Other Streams to Have Correct Balance Sheet Reporting
• Complete Month-End Close tasks (Revaluation, Translation, GL Interface run… etc.)

Manage Project Accounting/Fixed Assets:

• Set-up Projects and Activities / Appropriation Requests and Internal Orders
• Perform Project Maintenance
• Close Projects
• Capitalize new Fixed Assets
• Maintain Assets
• Retire Assets
• Process Asset Change Request
• Reconcile Fixed Asset Inventory Accounts with GL Clearing Accounts
• Support  Periodic On-site Physical Inventory Verification of Fixed Assets

Requirements:

• College (International Business, Finance and Accounting, Economics)
• Strong English knowledge
• Basic Accounting knowledge
• 1-2 years’ work experience in Finance is an advantage
